Resonance is Everything.
There are all kinds of drummers - from jazz to rock, funk to gospel, the spectrum of styles is immense.

But all drummers agree on one thing: RESONANCE IS EVERYTHING.

At Spinelli Drums, we never forget that, and resonance is the fundamental reason for our existence as a company. No other company is as focused on letting the drum shell breathe and vibrate the way that Spinelli Drums do.
​With our patented free-floating lugs and hardware that don't choke the natural resonance of the shell, our drums allow the sustain of the drum to fill the room in a way that you can't find anywhere else.
​
Drummers know the struggle of tuning traditional drums; the top and bottom heads are difficult to get equal tension, and the two heads never stay in sync, which can cause the drum sound to thin and/or ring with unwanted overtones.
​
Traditional drum design also uses lugs that are drilled into the shell, choking the resonance out of the drum as well as raising the pitch of the drum.
​
Spinelli Drums have solved both of these problems by using our patented free-floating design: the top head is in equal/proportional tension with the bottom head, and both are simultaneously tuned together. There are very few places on the entire kit where anything is drilled into a shell, allowing the drums to sing, making for a musical playing experience.
